Customers rent from United for many different reasons. Sometimes customers choose to rent because of short term seasonal demand, maybe they are prospecting for new business and sometimes it’s a financial decision. Our flexible rental program is customizable to your individual project needs.
Rent Short-Term (Month-by-Month)
If you no longer need the machinery after the minimum rental period, send it back. Many customers choose a short-term rental to meet seasonal demands, continue production while a machine is repaired, or to test a new product. If you need it longer, continue renting on a month-by-month basis. We will invoice you each month until you decide to return the equipment to us.
Rent-To-Own (Try Before You Buy)
Try out the equipment under your own operating conditions during the minimum rental period. If you like the machine, you can continue renting it, or you can purchase it. A portion of each monthly rental payment, as well as your entire security deposit, can be applied to your future purchase of the equipment. Rental payments are typically classified as operational expenses, rather than capital expenditures, allowing full income tax benefit.
How Does a Rental Work?
After you sign and return the rental agreement, we will send you an invoice and instructions to arrange shipping.
Rent the equipment as long as you need, following the minimum rental period. We will invoice you monthly. If at any time you decide to purchase, a portion of your rental payments and your rental deposit will be applied to the purchase price.
When you return the equipment to us, secure it using the original custom skid(s), and ship it using pre-approved transport and your deposit will be refunded, less the cost of repairs, following the equipment’s arrival and inspection at our Wellington location.
